1. Open the packages 24 hours before installation to let the tiles adapt to the installation environment temperature. Prepare the tools and equipment. Any general-purpose silicon adhesive can be used. Follow the instructions displayed on the adhesive being used.

2. Clean the walls and ceilings that you want the panels to be applied to and ensure that the surfaces are solid and structurally sound. Surfaces should also be free from dust and oil

3. Apply the adhesive on the back surface of the tile forming 8 x 8 even grids. Ensure that the adhesive will reach the edges and corners sufficiently without squeezing out when pressure is applied. (For timber tiles, ensure each individual mosaic has sufficient adhesive applied to it so you do not have any loose mosaic pieces after the tiles have been installed)

4. Paste tiles onto the wall starting at the bottom of the wall until the adhesive takes hold making sure the tile back is flat against the wall. Make sure the next tile is well aligned with the previous one completing an entire row before moving up to the next row. Butt the tiles up against each other, leaving a minimum of a 7mm gap where the tiles meet any joining walls and around window and door frames.)

When done, use gap filler to fill any gaps in the joins and also around the edges where they meet the walls, floor and ceiling and around window and door frames). Remove unnecessary overflow with a damp cloth.
Note: Cocomosaic tiles are 100% natural, and all processes are handmade. No two tiles are identical. The variation from tile to tile should not be considered a defect, rather it represents the true nature of the uniqueness of this wonderful product.

CUTTING COCOMOSAIC TILES

Cocomosaic tiles are easy to cut. We recommend that Cocomosaic Coconut and Timber tiles be cut to required size with a Timber Table top saw, compound miter saw or even a jig saw for any shapes that are required to be cut. Cutting of tiles should only be performed by qualified operators of the tools being used ensuring that all safety procedure are being followed in accordance with the instruction manuals of those particular tools.

MAINTENANCE CLEANING

Cocomosaic panels are easy to maintain. Clean regularly with a vacuum cleaner and a clean damp cloth. A PH neutral detergent diluted with water can be used for any stubborn marks.

STORAGE

Tiles should be stored in a horizontal position, stacked to a maximum of ten boxes and must be stored in dry environments with good ventilation, and preferably on a pallet.
