Wicker made from highly durable, solution-dyed polyethylene (PE), which is ideal for outdoor use, because it withstands moisture and large variations in temperature. Both the structure of the fibres and the weave ensure elasticity and optimal sitting comfort. The durable material is UV-resistant and requires minimal maintenance.
It has been developed to withstand climate conditions all over the world and the material will retain its color and shape for many years.
Maintenance & cleaning
Because the product is used outdoors over extended periods of time, regular cleaning with a soft brush and soapy water is important. This ensures the removal of superficial soil and debris, such as leaves, berries, pollen and bird droppings, before they have a chance to build up and become more difficult to remove.
Alternatively, the product can be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner set at moderate.

Teak wood is approved and forested under the SVLK certification system. This is a guarantee that the teak production supports responsible forest management. Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content.
Our teak furniture is delivered untreated. If the furniture remains untreated, the teakwood will patina over time and turn pale grey colour. If you wish to retain the original golden colour, we recommend treating teak furniture with a recommended teak sealant.
Please note that teakwood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks can develop due to drying and that slats can warp slightly.
If you wish to retain the golden color , teak Τable tops should be cleaned and treated at least a couple of times a year with teak oil or deck oil if you need a waterproof effect. If your teak furniture becomes silvery-grey or black on the surface, it can be cleaned with a recommended teak cleaner. After cleaning and rinsing thoroughly with water, allow the furniture to dry. When the furniture is completely dry, it is ready to be treated with teak oil or deck oil.
For contract use tables, Teak must be treated with Deck Oil so that it becomes stain resistant (Oil, Coffee, Tomato etc)

How to prevent Moisture-related Problems
Wood can swell or shrink due to changes in temperature and humidity. Below you will find information how to minimize problems due to moisture changes.
Hygroscopic material
Wood is a hygroscopic material. This means it naturally absorbs and releases water (moisture) to balance its internal moisture content with the surrounding environment.
Because wood retains its hygroscopic nature after it’s put into use, it’s subjected to fluctuating humidity. Shrinkage and swelling may occur in wood when there are changes in humidity and temperature. This may eventually result in cracks, gaps, and weak joints. This natural characteristic is inseparable linked to a (solid) wooden product and is not to be considered a defect.
Normal behavior of wood
A large part of the effect of moisture absorption is intercepted within the construction of a piece of furniture. In addition, the moisture content of the piece of furniture is closely monitored until the moment of delivery.
Before the wooden tables or other wooden furniture leaves the factory or workshop, the moisture percentage is 10 to 14 percent. Once in the showroom or at the customer’s place, the relative humidity of the environment should be between 50 and 60 percent. If these values are considered, the shrinking and swelling will be insignificant and the wood will ‘show’ normal behavior.
Shrinkage and cracking
The wood we use has been kiln-dried. Yet it can shrink, crack or split due to uneven dehydration. Experience shows that the air humidity is often too low in rooms with floor and / or air heating. The same applies to new buildings because of the better insulation.
General tip
In addition to the right humidity, it’s important that wooden furniture gets the chance to adapt slowly to the changing ambient temperature. Therefore, leave doors and drawers open for the first few days after installation. This prevents them from shrinking or swelling on one side.

Material, maintenance, cleaning & storing
Sunproof Olefin fabric, is a coated polyester material, which is ideal for outdoor use and requires minimal maintenance.
Because the product is used outdoor over extended periods of time, regular cleaning with a soft brush and soapy water is important.
This ensures the removal of superficial soil and debris, such as leaves, pollen etc, before they have a chance to build up and become more difficult to remove. Please note, that despite the anti-bacterial protection, mildew can still form between the inner and outer covers, if the cushion is not properly drained or cleaned.
In case of food or drink spills, wash the spot immediately with warm soapy water and allow the cushion to dry in an upright position.
White furniture is more delicate and prone to staining and thus requires more regular cleaning.
Cleaning stubborn stains For stubborn stains or built-up soil, carefully wash with a recommended stain remover, such as Vanish (Vanish Oxi Action), and/ or a high-pressure cleaner set at moderate.
It is a good idea to remove the core from the cover and wash and dry them separately. Make sure to clean both sides of the outer cover.
Please note, that cushion covers are machine washable at 30°C.
